There are several considerations when building a custom frame for an individual. The process starts with a conversation on what type of riding you do, how frequent, what your riding style is, and what you do and do not like about your current frames. You will be measured and fit for your custom frame. This can be accomplished through a form we send you or you can get a professional fit done in your local area and send me the measurements.
I build two types of frames; lugged and fillet brazed. I will help and advise you throughout the process. You can be involved in the process as much as you like. Each detail is discussed; from the steel type and cable routing options to the rear dropout style.
Once I have the measurements and the steel chosen, I can finalize your design in a rendering tool we use. When you approve the render a deposit is taken. I will purchase the initial materials to begin your build.
Including paint, the current lead time is six months.
